An excellent base for a family of four who want to experience this lovely part of the Lake District National Park, Sparrow Cottage offers stylish interiors throughout whilst being close to a range of outdoor activities. After parking in the off-road space, head inside to be welcomed by a fabulously furnished open-plan living space. Grab a seat on one of the plush sofas and switch on the Smart TV to watch your favourite show; why not throw some logs into the woodburning stove, too? Progress to the kitchen, a space enjoying sleek, white units with wooden worktops and a great array of appliances, such as a washer/dryer and slimline dishwasher.
Once the budding chef of the family has whipped up a culinary delight here, tuck into it at the neighbouring dining table or take it out to the communal garden, where you can enjoy it as you watch the idyllic beck flow by. As the day winds to a close, climb the stairs to find two well-appointed bedrooms, a double and a bunk, as well as a fantastic bathroom, where soothing dips can be enjoyed in the spacious, corner bath and refreshing showers can be had in the glass enclosure. As it was dog friendly there was no hose pipe out back to clean our dog off , no security light out the back ,wood burner not working ,was cold at times but not freezing ,would not stay at this property again I'm afraid,

The weather was mixed so it was lovely to come back to the log burner and being within walking distance of a good dog friendly pub was a bonus. Weâll definitely book again in the future.
