As the name suggests, a pet friendly, cosy character cottage with beamed ceilings, two double bedrooms and and L-shaped living/dining room. This traditional Lakeland cottage is situated in the heart of Portinscale village, which lies on the northern shores of Derwentwater and 1 mile from Keswick. The village has a pub, restaurants, a tea room/shop and a marina for those who enjoy sailing. In Keswick there are many shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions to explore on the rainy days. There are many beautiful mountain walks immediately accessible from Cosy Cottage, including Causey Pike, Catbells, Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw, or low level walks around the lake.

A lovely little home from home cottage, would highly recommend. Had everything you needed. We had a very relaxing holiday, apart from the long walks. We would no hesitate to book this cottage again.
