This two bedroomed Lakeland stone semi-detached cottage has spectacular fell views from its elevated location on the edge of the popular village of Threlkeld. Easily accessible from the M6, the village has two pubs, each serving bar meals and real ale and is just four miles to the east of Keswick. With many walking opportunities from the doorstep, Cropple How provides a cosy base from which to explore the area.
Up to two dogs only, at charge of £20 each. Cot charge of £10.
The patio is one metre above garden level and is protected by railings / handrail that are 1.1m in height. Please do not allow children to climb on the railings.
There are low banisters at the property.

Please note: The chimney is temporarily out of use due to a bird nest with eggs currently residing there!

We really enjoyed out stay at Cropple How, a very homely and comfortable cottage. The views are amazing. A great location for visiting the north lakes area.

Cropple Howe Cottage has excellent views from front garden.It is up a steep hill so not suitable if you have walking difficulties However if you using car it would be ok (Parking can be tight )Lovely village with Local Cafe 2 pubs.Bus service from village is frequent Only issue is that some of the kitchen Mugs and Teapots need to be sterilised or replacedAlso hoover bag quite smelly.Village has no shop if you run out of Milk Bread .
