We loved the location of this small lodge park - just a 20 min walk from the centre of Keswick. Very quiet despite being just down the road from the A66, making it easily accessible to get on the road. The lodge park appeared very well looked after and nicely landscaped. We had such a lovely view of Latrigg right out of the cabin which really made it. I think the only negative of the lodge itself was the bed - could definitely do with a new mattress as it dipped significantly while sleeping, making it not the most restful nights sleep after long hikes. Other than the bed, the lodge itself was really well equipped and we found we had everything we needed.

Whilst it was well equipped it was very dated. There was a musty smell in the property which we think came from the sette and chair. The surrounding views were obscured by trees so couldn’t see mountains from the balcony. Good walking distance into town and welcoming bottle of wine. Don’t expect anything modern. Regrettably would not return.
