The cottage lies at the foot of Honister Pass, above the hamlet of Seatoller overlooking Hause Gill and England’s most beautiful valley. The cottage underwent major refurbishment and has tasteful furnishings and top quality appliances. The Langstrath Pub in nearby Stonethwaite, offers beverages and home made food. There is a village store in Rosthwaite, 1½ miles away and many more amenities in nearby Keswick. Derwentwater, Buttermere and Crummock water are all close by with many fantastic walks on the surrounding fells, including Scafell Pike and Haystacks. A must to visit is the slate mine at the summit of Honister Pass. Shop 8 miles, pub and restaurant ¾ miles.

Cot hire is £10 and highchair hire is £5.

No children under 8 years old.

There is open water in the property grounds.

A security deposit of £300 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
