Howe Bridge House is a charming and cosy cottage set in a peaceful countryside location just outside Keswick, offering stunning views and excellent access to local walks and the Fells. Guests appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the ability to explore the area without needing a car. While the decor and some facilities are a little tired, this did not detract from the comfort or enjoyment of the stay. The property is ideal for families and those seeking a tranquil retreat close to nature.
Cleanliness is generally good, with no negative comments, though some mention of tired decor may suggest areas could benefit from refreshment.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful countryside setting, outstanding views, and convenient access to Keswick and local walks.
Guests found the cottage cosy and comfortable, with only minor issues such as a small shower and tired decor noted, which did not affect overall comfort.
The cottage is well equipped for families, but some facilities, particularly the shower and hot water, could benefit from upgrading.
Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as filled bird feeders, though such gestures are not guaranteed.

We had a lovely stay. Property very tired and needs upgrading especially the shower as it is very small considering the size of the room. Hot water wasn’t always available from the taps. Lovely views from all windows and a nice touch to fill up the bird feeders.
