No smoking.. This pair of delightful holiday cottages are tucked away, yet very centrally located in the bustling and popular market town of Keswick. Well presented and built in the mid 1990’s they offer very cosy, comfortable and tastefully furnished holiday accommodation. Enjoy excellent local atmosphere and amenities plus dramatic and spectacular scenery on the doorstep. This is a walkers paradise with good restaurants, pubs, theatre, cinema, leisure centre, golf, tennis, water sports, fishing, bowls and shopping all nearby. Shops and pubs 200 metres.

The property is well placed and has dedicated parking which is really handy in the centre of Keswick. It was so quiet!There were however a number of concerns inside the property which we did report and take photos of whilst there.The shower is probably the best I've had on holiday however, the screen is not sealed well at all which we noticed when water had gone down the side of the bath and through the ceiling of the sitting room. There are stains on the ceiling so this has been happening for some time.The bath barely drained on our first morning, so we had to buy some bleach to pour down the plug hole which remedied that problem.The bathroom taps had not been cleaned well. The upstairs windows were filthy on the outside.The TV remote had no back which made it tricky changing channel.The coloured plastic chopping boards in the kitchen drawer need to be replaced. They are badly scratched and smell awful. I used a plate to prep food on inside.The clock in the kitchen has stopped. Either replace the batteries or remove the clock.There is no shelf under the socket in the bathroom so the toothbrush chargers had to be plugged into a charger on the landing.There was not even a basic welcome pack, no tea, coffee or milk.On a positive, it was nice not to have white towels which I always worry about after a day on the fells or in the lake.The bed was comfortable for me.The washing machine was one of the reasons we picked this property, it's so handy to have.Overall, the property's furnishing and decor is old fashioned and tired. It really needs updating and a bit of money and tlc investing into it.If the above concerns were addressed we would absolutely stay here again. If left as it is, I'm afraid it won't be on our list to return.

Really nice stay in great location. Parking space right next to cottage.Only a few issues. The mattress is in need of updating as not much comfort and the kitchen floor is broken in places
