Please note: There is a stream, though fenced off, at the bottom of the garden.. This semi-detached bungalow has the best of both worlds, a semi-rural feeling but very close to the town centre. La’al Gem is the end property in a quiet cul-de-sac and consequently benefits from a larger garden and a degree of privacy. The owner provides a selection of games, and a badminton set for the garden. Walla Crag is easily accessed from the property, the lake is a 10-minute stroll and Keswick’s superb amenities are within a 2-minute walk.

Our 3rd visit to La-al Gem. As always it was an enjoyable stay. The location is perfect for going into all the amenities in and around Keswick.The car was parked up safely in the private parking space and rarely moved.The garden is large and very dog friendly. Our labradoodles love this cottage as much as we do.The house is comfortable, clean and provides good facilities and storage.We look forward to visit no.4.

Disappointed when first arrived as garden was not as well fenced as I had read which meant I had to watch over the dog when he went out.Also grass very overgrown.Apart from that fairly comfortable and clean. Everything we needed for our stay. We had a lovely holiday and didn’t want to go home. It was good to be near the church and a great sense of calm and peace when sitting on the many seats there with good views. Near to the lake shops and parks. To be honest near to perfect!Thank you
