We stayed at Manesty for two weeks in June so we could enjoy walking in the Lake District. Both the property and location didn't disappoint us. Manesty was nice and clean and very well equipped. Our hosts Clare & Steve were very welcoming and ensured that if we needed anything they were at hand. The description on the Cottages website was as accurate as it could be. The rooms were a good size, and the view from the lounge was something else. A great place to stay and can recommend it.

Just got back from there yesterday. Have had a great week at Manesty, its where we go to relax and the view is beautiful. It's our forth time here and we will be back next year.

The house was lovely and in a good location but the cleanliness really let this house down. Our socks are ruined from the flooring, even from the first day when we entered the house our socks were black. One of the rooms smelt damp to which my husband seen black mould behind drawers. When drying hairs in the bedroom, there was a lot of dust flying around. Other than this it’s a lovely house and the views are amazing!
