Guests say

Middle Howe receives glowing praise for its stunning panoramic views, spacious and comfortable interiors, and excellent location close to Keswick and scenic walks. Guests consistently highlight the well-equipped kitchen, ease of parking, and peaceful setting. While a few minor maintenance issues and the absence of welcome refreshments are noted, these do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences. The property is highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay in the Lake District.

Guests frequently describe the property as spotless, clean, and well-kept, with only rare minor mentions of issues such as a smell from the oil-fired boiler. Overall, cleanliness is a clear strength.

The location is widely praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to Keswick and local walks. Guests appreciate the balance of peaceful countryside and easy access to amenities.

Reviews consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a cosy atmosphere. A single mention of the apartment being cold in the evenings is the only minor drawback.

The property is described as exceptionally well-equipped, with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Occasional minor maintenance issues (e.g., boiler smell, slow internet, toaster) are noted but quickly resolved or not significant.

Guests appreciate the attention to detail in equipping the property, but several note the absence of welcome items such as tea, coffee, or sugar. Please note that gifts or welcome packs are not guaranteed.
