Ideally located in the heart of one of the Lake District’s most popular towns, Skiddaw View provides the ideal base from which to explore Keswick and the surrounding lakes and fells. Skiddaw View has been completely redecorated throughout in April 2018 with new curtains and some furnishings, new bedding, linen and towels and with lovely artwork on the walls of beautiful local scenes. Stretching over the first and second floors, with superb views from the second floor bedrooms, this family holiday apartment is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Keswick boasts a unique mixture of tea rooms, restaurants and bars, as well as a selection of gift shops and boutiques. There are also a few museums if you are looking to feed your curiosity. Have you ever wondered where poets such as Wordsworth and Coleridge took their inspiration? Well, come and see for yourself! Perhaps a leisurely drive over the Whinlatter Pass will spark your inner poet. Not forgetting Beatrix Potter, who also used the beautiful landscapes that surround Skiddaw View for her popular book series. You will soon know why.

Flat was clean, yes a slight musty smell by front door but not a problem. Living area has plenty of space and was lovely and bright. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, quite minimal but everything we needed for a week. Could maybe do with making sure there was 6 of everything, but we could make do with what was there. No problems getting the parking permit sorted and we were able to get a space in the Otley street car park nearby. The location was brilliant, so central to everything. Would definitely stay here again

Brilliant location, although it took us a wee while to find it - it’s above The Real North shop and entrance is all the way round the back, past the back door of the shop.It was very spacious for a family of 5!Only downside is there’s no WiFi - a big deal for families with teenagers!

Great location for this flat in central Keswick, so really good for exploring and night time.The flat also comes with free parking in the central car parks - another bonus. The flat is spacious and good sized rooms. Very comfortable and easy to use.
