Luxuriously renovated from a former stone farm building, this detached property offers quality and comfort to an excellent standard, and even has its own hot tub. Relax in the bright and airy living room with the bi-folding doors opening out to the views, or for a warm and comfy evening, light the wood burner and relax in the large sumptuous sofas. The open plan layout provides the perfect place to entertain in, with large dining table and well equipped kitchen, where everyone can enjoy mealtimes and come together. After a good night’s sleep in the comfortable beds open the curtains and take in the views of the surrounding fells, and down towards St Johns in the Vale, a truly inspiring way to start your day. Threlkeld has a golf course and two renowned pubs, each serving real ale, good food and one with a restaurant, whilst the vibrant market town of Keswick is only a few miles away. This is our second visit to the Hoggest and I am sure we will be back. A superb house in a superb location. A great base for exploring Kesiwck and the local hills. Highly recommend a visit

We really enjoyed our stay here....it was the most stunning location...views in ever direction! Hot tub was great, the house has so much space and everything you need.It's a really good base location for surrounding walks and areas. We did the Derwent Circular 10min drive away and the railway walk I to Keswick, which can get to from the house.Not much in Threlkeld itself, 2 pubs which were ok. We would definitely stay again.The arrival hamper was a nice touch x
