After dinner, you can retire to the games room where you'll find table tennis, and a range of books and games. There's also a twin bedroom, ground floor shower room with WC and hand basin, with its own kitchen area with electric oven and sink. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, with the king-size master bedroom boasting an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The large, mature grounds are laid mostly to lawn, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.

This is an ideal location for exploring the National Park, with a number of walking routes just minutes away. It's just a couple of miles to the market town of Keswick, where you can see local artefacts at the museum or get active at Keswick Climbing Wall.

If leisurely walks are the order of the day, Castlerigg Stone Circle is close at hand, as is High and Low Rigg. For something a little more challenging, climb Blencathra or Helvellyn and enjoy the spectacular views from the top.

Keswick is a year round destination with a wide variety of attractions on offer including, lake cruises on Derwentwater, live performances at the Theatre by the Lake, fine fell walking, lively street markets and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Hope Park is a relaxing and beautiful place to visit at any time of year it is only a five minute walk from the apartment, here you could enjoy a round of golf or keep the children entertained with a game of crazy golf. Also nearby you will find the River Greta and Fitz Park with tennis courts, pitch and put golf or just simply stroll along side the river. For the more energetic visit Whinlatter Forest Park which has a fantastic mountain biking trail and also hosts the tree top adventure Go Ape.
