There’s a private parking space and ample street parking meaning you can leave the car behind and enjoy this popular market town on foot.
Keswick is full of narrow streets with independent shops and courtyards, and has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops, and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine. This traditional market town is full of great things to discover. If you like culture check out the Theatre by The Lake, with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can also hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. For fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. Our second visit to this lovely cottage, fabulous location and great to have own car space. The cottage has great facilities for a comfortable stay and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. Close to local shops and pubs and a fabulous base to many great walks.
