Tommy’s Cottage is one of our most luxurious Keswick cottages and no expense was spared in renovating and furnishing this Lakeland stone fronted cottage. An interior designer assisted with the refurbishment and attention to detail was given in every area, including feature papered walls, coordinated fabrics, oak bedroom furniture and fully tiled bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, guests with mobility problems will appreciate the ground floor en-suite bedroom. The cottage is 5 minutes level walk from the town centre and has a pleasant rear courtyard, a sun trap which is perfect for dining al fresco. Location is excellent. The main drawback was the kitchen and dishes etc. The cafetiere was still full of coffee, the frying pan not cleaned and a general lack of crockery and glasses.I would be happy to stay again but 2 of the group would pass.

Had a lovely week with my family, we have stayed here a few times. Had to clean the oven once there because the trays were full of grease. The front and the rear yard could do with weeding and the yard pressure washed as was a bit grubby looking, apart from that well equipped and had a comfortable stay. Thanks.
