The log fire was a lovely touch in the comfortable lounge. The games room was a real bonus to us all. It housed it's own American Fridge Freezer which was a real plus point. Beautiful country side, great for walking and a perfect location for visiting the Lakes. Fabulous few of the Irish Sea can be seen from the Farmhouse. Great hosts! Thank you both for a truly lovely New Year break!

The welcome pack was a lovely, thoughtful gift and much appreciated. They was only a few issues, one being that the downstairs bedroom smelled strongly of damp, in one of the upstairs bedrooms, one of the plugs kept sparking, the PAT test had run out and most of the mugs had chips in them. Overall, a very enjoyable stay though.

Nothing detrimental to our stay, sometimes it's us getting used to the way other properties are and their quirks. There was a torrential downpour on one day, the stream at the top burst it's banks and caused a slight flood into the games room, again it was all taken care of, the first time in five years, hey ho. Really, it was a fab place for a family holiday. A real plus, there was no.long list of do's and don'ts, that you find in other places, made you feel at ease too.
