The king-size bed, tucked at one end, has gorgeous views and is delightfully cosy, featuring soft bed linens and wall-mounted lighting. The dining table has space to unfold maps and walking guides, or play a board game (all supplied) and can then be folded away to create more room. Last, but definitely not least, there’s a sleek en-suite shower room with hot-and-cold running water, a flushing WC and fluffy towels.
You’ll want to spend as much time outside as possible: lounge on your private terrace enjoying the incredible views (perhaps saying hello to the alpacas, donkeys and sheep which wander around the smallholding), enjoy a delicious meal alfresco, or soak in the wood-fired hot tub.
