There is stabling available by separate negotiation by contacting the owner if you would like to bring your horses, ponies and it is also dog friendly. The popular village of Gosforth has a local Italian restaurant, public houses which all serve good food with local produce. There are two public footpaths at Windhall Retreat which are a five-minute walk into the village of Gosforth.

Spent a lovely week here just relaxing and taking in the spectacular views. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a holiday stay. Plenty of walks available to stretch your legs and short drives to fantastic sandy beaches. Good food at the local pub. No issue with regard to staying here again.

We’ve just got back from a lovely week at Wind Hall Log Cabin and can happily recommend it to anyone and their dog! The rooms were lovely with a comfy king size bed, and the kitchen and bathroom were ideal for what we needed. Every care was taken to make us feel very welcome - they even laid on the amazing weather ;-). We will definitely be looking to go back!

My friend and I recently visited and had a really lovely stay. The place was clean and tidy, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Although the weather wasnt great so we couldnt make use of the hot tub, everything else about our visit was excellent. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend it to others!
