This former farmhouse enjoys an isolated location next to the owner’s house, high up on the Caldbeck Fells, with panoramic views in all directions. There are walks from the door immediately onto the open fells and quiet roads for cycling. The picturesque village of Caldbeck is three miles and has a pub, café and shop, or more amenities can be found in the bustling town of Keswick, 15 miles away. The cottage is both comfortably furnished in a traditional style and economically priced.

Very quiet and peaceful location but just a short car journey to Keswick, the main lakes area and the shops.Excellent for our dog with the cottage being fully fenced and walled front and back.Very well equipped and clean and well cared for accommodation throughout.We intend to go back in the future.

Perfect for what we were looking for! Lovely and characterful property that was immaculately clean and a safe space for the kids and dogs to be outside. The location is breathtaking and the silence of an evening is almost deafening broken by the odd sheep! If you want to get away from the noise and hustle of normal life then I’d 100% recommend.
