The apartment is located close to cafes and restaurants on Lake Road, just a short walk from the northern tip of Lake Windermere. Accessed by an exterior staircase, Kelsick Heights has been finished to the highest standards from the comfortable and spacious living room with its feature bay window offering magical views of the fells, to the large, modern and fully-equipped diner/kitchen. There are two bedrooms: one double with en-suite shower room with hand basin, WC and shaver socket, and a twin bedroom with access to the luxury, fully tiled bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and shaver socket.
There's no garden available with the property, however there is plenty of outdoor space being close to the shores of Lake Windermere and the walks and cycling trails beyond mean you won't be short of places to relax and unwind. There are pubs, restaurants and shops almost on the doorstep of Kelsick Heights and private parking is provided for your car. However, one of the great benefits of this apartment is the opportunity to leave the car at home for a change.

Dishwasher wasnât emptied and tv remote under cushions in main room suggested that hasnât been tidied / cleaned appropriately. Also feels like things are rationed - only two people staying but we had to buy toilet roll, no washing machine detergent and only 3 dishwasher tabs. More effort could be made. Also maintainence needed - blind in bathroom broken

It was not clear that we had to go to two separate place for bottles and cardboard and there was no obvious information about plastics.

Loved the jacuzzi bath, especially after a days walking. Check in at 5pm and check out at 9am would benefit from an hours leeway either way as there was no flexibility despite asking ((and no reply to my request). Current access times mean a late arrival to the destination and an early departure, but arriving at 4pm and leaving at 10am would make a big difference. Having wifi was great, but tv channel access was limited and while the tv manufacturers guide was available we couldnât connect to broadband to use to its full potential. On a similar theme, there were loads of great dvds/ blue ray discs available but we couldnât find a player! Overall a great location, really central, bit noisy as a result in the evenings due to the restaurant over the road and proximity to pubs and bars, and definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to several flights of external metal stairs needed to access the property but thatâs all made clear on the property info too so wasnât a surprise! High chairs are provided at the property which is great if relevant but due to the access route Iâm not sure whether Iâd stay there with very young children as the eternal stairs might be a bit tricky!
