Cosy period cottage offering comfortable accommodation for four guests, situated on the owner s farm enjoying views to Lake Coniston, which lies just 0.5 miles from the property s front door.

This property enjoys a tranquil farmland location, up a steep narrow hill on the edge of the lakeside village of Coniston, right in the shadow of the impressive fell The Old Man of Coniston. There is plenty to see and do in the area, whether guests want to enjoy a relaxing cruise on the lake, take scenic walks, or try their hand at the impressive range of watersports on offer which include canoeing, sailing, and stand up paddleboarding. For those with an interest in history and culture there are many places of interest in the local area, including The World of Beatrix Potter, Potter s former home at Hilltop, Wray Castle, and The Ruskin Museum.

Stepping through the stone porch, guests staying at this property will come directly to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a welcoming and cosy room with dark wooden beams, and a large stone fireplace with its open fire. This is the perfect spot for guests to relax on the sofa and chairs with a drink and a good book, or perhaps enjoy a favourite programme on the Smart TV. At one side of the room, one step down leads to the kitchen area which is well equipped offering an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine / tumble dryer, Dulce Gusto coffee machine and a dishwasher.

The shower room can also be found on the ground floor of the property, offering a shower and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor which is where the bedrooms are situated and another shower room with WC. The first of these is a peaceful double room, whilst the other is a tastefully understated twin room with homely decorative touches. In front of the cottage there is an enclosed outdoor area, next to which there is a seating area which is shared with the other properties. There is parking for two cars.
