This property is located on the owner s small farm up a narrow step hill just outside the village of Coniston in the picturesque Lake District National Park. The village is a lovely space to spend time browsing the shops and enjoying a leisurely lunch in one of the pubs or cafes before spending the afternoon taking to the water from Coniston Boating Centre from where visitors can hire canoes sailing boats and paddleboards. The jetty next to the boating centre is the departure point for the lovingly renovated Victorian steamers which make their way around the lake at a relaxing pace allowing visitors to simply sit back and enjoy the view.

The front door of this handsome property opens directly into the welcoming farmhouse-style kitchen a homely room with a breakfast table oven hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine in the house which is located in a separate utility room next to which there is a shower room with a shower and WC. A door from the kitchen leads through to the spacious yet cosy-feeling lounge with its open fire and large windows. There are three comfortable sofas perfect for spending time relaxing in front of the TV/DVD or simply spending time together. The separate dining room lies just down the hallway from the lounge and is furnished with a large dining table a sofa and another warming open fire.

Next to the dining room is the first of the property s five bedrooms a bunk bedroom whilst the remaining four are situated on the first floor. Two of these are attractive double rooms each with an inviting armchair providing guests with a quiet spot to sit with a good book. The other two bedrooms are both twin rooms both offering pretty views across the surrounding countryside. The bathroom meanwhile can be found down a small flight of stairs and offers shower over bath and WC. Outside the property benefits from a private garden to the front of the cottage which offers wonderful views to Coniston Water from the table and chairs provided as well as a BBQ.

There is even a small waterfall and stream which can be a fun place to paddle and cool off. There is ample parking available.
