Begin exploring by walking from the door up to Todd Crag to experience magnificent views over the shimmering Lake Windermere, before ambling down to the waterside at Waterhead and hopping on a boat cruise taking you along the calming waters of Windermere, or choose to hire a boat so you can explore Windermere’s islands at your leisure.

Take a scenic bus ride to the head of the dramatic Langdale valley and enjoy one of the many walks here, before stopping in at a local pub for a well-deserved drink.
