An ideal family retreat offering comfortable and cosy accommodation, there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom, whilst downstairs there is a wonderful sitting room. The light and bright kitchen and separate dining area, makes a lovely space to enjoy delicious meals after a busy day exploring Staveley. On warm sunny days, there is an outside patio area at the back of the cottage enclosed by a stone wall, perfect to sit out with a glass of something cold. Just a short walk takes you into the centre of Staveley, which has the UK's largest cycle shop, together mixing with other interesting outlets such as the Mill Yard, including the Beer Hall, where you can sample ales from the Hawkshead Brewery. The River Kent tumbles its way through the village from the Kentmere Valley, leading walkers to Mardale which is also popular with cyclists. This cottage is a great base to enjoy a holiday in the stunning Lake District at whatever time of year.

The Lakeland village of Staveley is situated on the eastern fringes of the Lake District National Park and offers superb access to the whole region. Kentmere Valley is just a short walk away, it is very popular with mountain bikers and walkers alike.
