Badgers Rest Lodge is situated in the Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park in the Troutbeck Valley. The lodge enjoys a quiet and private location at the end of a cul-de-sac. Benefitting from an extended decking area offering a beautiful view of the Troutbeck Valley, this lodge is perfect for a relaxing get away. Many guests have commented on the variety of wildlife which can be spotted. Badgers Rest Lodge is ideal for couples as well as families and it sleeps six guests plus an infant in a travel cot. Limefitt Park is in a stunningly secluded location, on the A592 out of Windermere, but only four miles away from the busy village.

Here you’ll enjoy nature and lovely views, and the Trout Beck running through the park. There’s a pub on site, a small shop and children’s playground. From here you can walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man, both traditional old pubs with log fires and a warm welcome. Ullswater is also 10 miles from the park travelling over the Kirkstone Pass. There are many wonderful pubs, walks and activities around Ullswater. Badger's Rest is a lovely spot to base your family break in the Lakes.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Three bedrooms; Master bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower room with WC and basin.

Two other bedrooms have full size twin beds.

Family bathroom with full size corner bath, over head shower, WC and basin.

Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with feature effect fire place.

Spacious decking with outdoor furniture and views.

Full gas central heating.

Electic oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, TV with Sky Freesat, DVD player, CD/DAB radio, ipod dock, TV in second bedroom, WiFi provided by Limefitt Park.

Fuel and power included in rent.

Bed linen and towels included in rent (please bring own leisure towels).

Two dogs welcome, Dedicated dog area in the pub.

Parking for two cars, Decking with outdoor furniture.

Please note, charging of electric vehicles is not permitted in this lodge, The nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

A barbecue slab is provided but please bring your own disposable barbecue and dispose of it appropriately.
