Well stocked kitchen with all you need to cook meals. All rooms are well sized with two toilets upstairs and one down stairs. All facilities worked including cooker, extractor, washer, dryer etc. a nice touch was the hot water tap outside ideal for washing out wet suits. About 15 minute walk into Bowness and everything you could need or 5 minute walk into Windermere for restaurants and shops. Pub across the road was not that inviting to outsiders but this is no reflection in this beautiful well appointed property. Only negatives were sofa very low and not very comfy, outside patio could do with power washing and the 4ft bed was not ideal for two adults to sleep on. The kitchen diner was amazing and was the hub for our large family for meals, games and usual family fun. Loads of board games provided and TV in lounge and diner area. The £400 bond was paid back by 6pm on the day of departure which was a nice touch.
