Beckside Rest Lodge is a beautiful, traditional style lodge and is located in one of the prime positions on Limefitt Park, sitting right on the riverbank in the Beckside area. This lodge sleeps four people so is ideal for couples or families with children; a travel cot is also available for an infant. Relax in the bright and open living/dining area where everyone can enjoy watching TV or chatting in front of the feature fire. Step outside and enjoy the private sunken hot tub which you can relax in after a nice long walk in the beautiful Lake District while listening to the running beck.

Outside is covered by a veranda which runs around the side of the lodge to protect you from the elements. Surrounded by the stunning Troutbeck valley, wherever you are on the Park, you’ll enjoy nature and woodlands, the Trout Beck runs through the park, and has some picnic areas, near the children’s playground. There’s also a pub on site, and a small shop. Limefitt Park is four miles from Windermere village although from the Park, you can walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man both with log fires, real ales and great food.

Carry up over the spectacular Kirkstone Pass, and there’s another ancient inn: The Kirkstone. Then drop down and you’ll see Brotherswater – around seven miles from the Park. From here, continue toward the beautiful Ullswater and the village of Glenridding for more great pubs and shops. A beautiful location to make memories with you and your family.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Hot Tub - please note, use of hot tub is between 10am and 10pm only.

Fuel and power included in rent.

Bed linen and towels included in rent, please bring own leisure towels.

Off-road parking for two cars.

Private decking with furniture and hot tub.

Shop and pub on-site.

A barbecue slab is provided, please bring your own disposable barbecue and dispose of it appropriately.
