The whole reason I booked this lodge was to enjoy this facility, so it was a bit of a let down, especially when this had been fed back in previous reviews that this was the case. I was hoping it would have been sorted but obviously not.

We paid extra for this lodge for the use of the hot tub and it wasn't fully functional for the whole of our trip. Whilst this is a lovely lodge with an amazing view it does need some attention internally - the cutlery drawer doesn't work properly and has clearly been 'fixed' previously with a screw. Some of the door handles work upside down due to again a quick fix. Overall, it is a beautiful lodge however it has been let down by the hot tub and some internal maintenance. It would also benefit from a little tlc and refresh of glasses as most were odd or plastic. We couldn't fault the maintenance team from Skyes or the Cumbrian hot tub company who came to fix the hot tub.

Whilst bathroom and kitchen areas clean I would say that a good general clean and some maintenance is required (noted on previous reviews said same thing). The patio doors we had to clean on arrival as covered in sticky handprints. The hot tub still has only one jet working out of about 10 (as per previous reviews have highlighted). The patio furniture is a bit wobbly (table) and we took our own cushions for comfort. The radiator is leaking in the main bedroom en-suite.
