Enviably situated in the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay awarded The David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation enjoys 60 acres of delightful wooded parkland running down to the shores of Lake Windermere.
Surrounded by fells offering beautiful scenery all year round, this is a perfect base for walking, climbing, fishing (national fishing licence required), sailing and boating with Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness all nearby.
After time spent exploring take a dip in the heated indoor pool with sauna followed by a relaxing evening in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant.
Accommodation is within easy reach of the lake and clubhouse, however please be aware that there may be steep gradients and undulating ground.
Please Note: There are no facilities available on Christmas Day and ticket access only on New Year's Eve.

The site was lovely and well placed for visiting sites in the vicinity The club house was very nice.Clean and well run.The site itself was very clean , in a lovely position on the lake .The caravan was clean However the caravan needed a bit of an up date The carpet in the lounge was the worse for wear and the curtains kept falling off the runners. The bedroom smelt very musty even though we had the windows open all the time. I would recommend the site .
