This beautiful holiday home offers high quality self-catering accommodation in a superb location that is a wonderful starting point for hundreds of walks, either on the high fells or along the banks of Coniston Water. Situated on a quiet lane, it is only a couple of minute’s stroll into Coniston village with its variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs and independent shops. Coniston Lodge holds important historical standing in the area, as it was rented by Donald Campbell during his last and fatal attempt to break the world speed record on Coniston.
This exceptionally well-equipped apartment is situated on the first floor, with views across the lane of traditional slate houses and onward to the Yewdale Fells. The property is very comfortably furnished with a full range of modern appliances to accommodate four people in two good-sized bedrooms. It is especially appealing to families with children. The delightful twin bedroom features Beatrix Potter’s characters with soft toys and patchwork cushions completing the look – a must for fans young and old!
The beautiful shared garden provides a peaceful area to sit out and enjoy the sunshine amongst the pretty hanging baskets, pots and planters.

In the shared entrance hall you'll find a variety of local handmade delights for sale such as, chutneys, jams and marmalades. On this level there is also a shared laundry comprising of a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The modern kitchen caters for your every need with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and integrated fridge/freezer. Alongside the kitchen are a dining table and four chairs. Many lovely touches, such as a welcome tray with a delicious homemade cake, help to get your holiday off to a great start.
