Leave coats and boots in the private hallway and walk through to the bright and airy open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area which has views towards the Yewdale Fells. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. Feast at the dining table where you can all catch up on the day, and don’t forget to try the delicious homemade cake - a welcome treat from the owners. Relax on the sofas in the living room by the warmth of the wood burner effect electric fire and choose favourite films to watch on the TV and DVD player. Sleep and rejuvenate in the cosy bedrooms; there’s a king-size and a twin, both with ample storage and en-suite bathrooms (with a shower over the bath, and WC). Children will love the Beatrix Potter twin bedroom with its themed bed covers and toys. On the ground floor of the building, you’ll find a shared utility with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There’s also a tray of local food produce for sale, including delicious jams and chutney.
Outside, you’ll find a shared cottage garden with pretty planting and hanging baskets. The apartment has a private seating area with a garden table and chairs plus sun loungers and a parasol to stay cool on hot summer afternoons. At the front of the main building, there’s a handy bench where you can kick off muddy hiking boots. Covered off-road parking is available for two cars under an archway, and there’s secure outside storage for bikes and sports equipment. You’ll find village shops, pubs, and eateries within half a mile of the property.
