Due to traffic we arrived in the dark after negotiating a very narrow lane to the cottage. I would recommend daylight hours arrival. on entering the cottage it was very cold and not welcoming on further inspection it wasn't very clean the log burner wasn't cleaned out full of ash and debris the oven trays were also not cleaned had to consult YouTube on how to unlock the microwave as no instructions the coffee machine had a used pod in it, overall we were disappointed as we also had to reprogram the tv to the Internet also both TV,s in the bedrooms we couldn't get working so gave up. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and mill cottage is near the bottom of our list. If you have a car as large as ours ( range rover ) be very careful as the allocated parking space is down a small lane and the branches scratched my car. However the cottage is very well equipped and appart from the few bad points we enjoyed our weeks stay. The area is outstanding. Ideal if you are on a walking holiday.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The place was immaculate and beautiful. Everything was catered for. Really had trouble trying to think of something to write in this box. There was no cake-slice is the best I can come up with.

The directions to the cottage could be improved by adding in driving under the disused railway bridge and turn right. Also inform people that the parking space is - turn right at “the bungalow” along a small track to gate to the parking space.
