really enjoyed our stay at the station masters cottage. Lovely surroundings, beautiful grounds and peaceful. the cottage was homely, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. it was decorated for Christmas which was lovely. The Wilson Arms acros the road was a lovely friendly place to eat and enjoy a drink. Dog friendly cottage as was the pub. Would definitely book again when going to the lake district.
