This apartment was very comfortable and in a great location close to the centre of town. Finding it was a bit tricky because the maps app did not recognise the address but other than that it was great, especially because it had parking

We enjoyed our stay at 7 Oaklands. Good - quiet street, yet central Ambleside location. Allocated parking space. Roomy comfortable lounge/dining room. Kitchen well equipped re what we required. Main bedroom with king size/ super king bed, small bedroom with two narrow single beds. Adequate cupboard/wardrobe storage. Matching well maintained furniture throughout apartment. To be aware of - keys need to be collected from and returned to cottages.com in Windermere. The shower over the bath is not very powerful, even with boost button on. There is no curtain or blind on frosted bathroom window. The sink has a small crack. In the main bedroom there is a small black mould patch on the wall. There is no washing machine. There is limited no of freeview channels on the large tv ie no Netflix or iplayer.

Great place to stay, close to the amenities in Ambleside and an excellent base for a walking holiday. Clean, tidy and well-equipped - I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
