Situated in the centre of Grasmere, Shepherd's Crook has been thoughtfully designed, a beautiful place to stay, with three floors of comfortable living. Families and friends can come together for a relaxing holiday experience at this precious retreat, enjoying views across the village towards the natural hills. Enter the cottage through the ground floor front door into a very spacious boot room and cloakroom. The sitting room is light and airy, with soft furnishings, a corner sofa, and a warm glow carried from the electric stove, and table lamps. The modernised kitchen boasts a whitewashed effect, neighboured by a vibrant dining room which will uplift your mood, morning or evening. Comprising wonderful bedrooms, you have plenty of choice when it comes to relaxing, including zip/link options, and two accompanied by en-suite shower rooms. Each bedroom reflects its own personality with a bold feature wall, character ceilings, and accessories to reflect the calming colour scheme. There is a family bathroom and cloakroom presented to a hotel standard, adding to the quality effect of this luxury accommodation. Any holiday to Grasmere needs to include The Grasmere Gingerbread shop, where the Wilson family have been making gingerbread for over 60 years. Also in the village are a number of shops, pubs, a church which dates back to the 13th century and Grasmere Lake, plus Grasmere Sports takes place every August, where you can watch participants compete in a variety of sports. Just five miles away is the town of Ambleside and Lake Winderemere where you will discover shops, pubs, restaurants and the 17th century Bridge House. From the charming exterior to the detailed interior, Shepherd's Crook is a magnificent place to visit with your loved ones.
