Little Robin Cottage in Ambleside is highly praised for its cosy comfort, beautiful views, and convenient location close to local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, warm atmosphere, and pet-friendly environment. The cottage's charm and the ability to charge electric cars are noted, although some minor maintenance issues and a steep walk from the town centre are mentioned.
Most guests found the cottage to be immaculately clean and comfortable. However, one review mentioned dust and cobwebs, suggesting that the cleaning might not always be consistent.
The location is celebrated for its quiet position with beautiful views and proximity to walks and amenities. The steep hill to the town centre may challenge some, but overall, the location is highly regarded.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The underfloor heating and the quality of the bed are particularly appreciated.
The facilities are generally well-received, with praise for the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. Some issues with appliances and minor maintenance needs are noted, slightly affecting the score.
While guests are pleased with the overall experience, there is a lack of consistent mention of welcome gifts or additional thoughtful touches. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the reviews provided.

Very cosy in chilly February. Stayed for a week. Lovely walk from the door in the Sweden Bridge direction. Uphill walk back from Ambleside centre but doable (we are in our 60âs). Everything well catered for in the cottage.

It was nice and warm and cozy and had all the comforts from home you would want. The standard of appliances and tech was above what you would expect. Nice and clean, nothing not to like. Would recommend.

We found the oven a challenge but got there eventually! Loved the shower and boiling water tap, definitely want both of these! Fantastic location and perfect for us. Great week had by all and Bess the dog was exhausted!!
