Had a nice week at the cottage which is really well located for all local amenities. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen has got everything you need.

We enjoyed the very unusual location and proximity to the amenities in Ambleside. The only thing I suggest should be clarified is the ‘garden’ because there isn’t one. There is a small seating area behind the house that one reaches by going left out of the front door, walking past two other front doors, up some steps to a high gate that opens onto a narrow path that goes behind all the houses and eventually to a small flight of steps up to the table and chairs. Not a beautiful journey and there is no way that I would have carried drinks and associated paraphernalia along that awkward path!
