This second floor apartment commands magnificent views over Wansfell and towards Helvellyn. Situated within a small development called Oaklands, close to the centre of Ambleside, within a short stroll from the many shops, restaurants, pubs and local attractions together with the wide variety of excellent walks. In all an extremely comfortable apartment, appointed to a high standard and in a central location, from which to explore the delights of the Lake District National Park.

A great location, had all we needed, comfortable bed, good shower, warm and clean. Very quiet, good views (second floor). A couple of minor things already mentioned in other reviews - need an extra lamp in the lounge, the bathroom blind really is in need of replacing as it's grim. Sofa cushions could do with a re-stuff. But only minor, didn't affect our stay, would happily book there again

A comfortable stay in the centre of Ambleside with no parking worries.Beds were wonderful.Certain niggles such as nowhere to hang clothes/towels when using the bathroom, poor evening lighting for reading, milk jug ..... When asked to bring own towels, wasted packing them as they were supplied. Should state clearly in description.Second visit and would return.

lovely place in town centre, a little more attention to mould on blinds etc wouldn't go amiss. Will return here when my hip replaced and I can do the stairs better. Good value for money and fabulous views
