It was everything we wanted and needed - warm and comfortable. The hot tub was an extra treat which was very much enjoyed after a day of hill walking! The lodge was clean and spacious. I would not hesitate to book this lodge again.

Great British weather!) The lodge itself however was lovely and had everything we needed. It was smaller than previous lodges weâve stayed in but this didnât matter as it had a really cosy feel to it. Hot tub also a great perk. Our only criticism would be the outside area, it is completely shaded and the decking was extremely slippy (the kids slipped multiple times). In the event there was sun, it wouldn't have been on the outside area which unfortunately would prevent us from returning in the summer months. A great stay on this occasion though.

There is plenty of space and it is lovely and clean. The host was very helpful and rang me straight back with a query I had. The decking would have benefited from a quick sweep and being jetwashed, but it wasn't an issue, just an observation.
