The lodge is exactly as described. When we got in the heating was already on and hot tub ready. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Internet is slightly hit and miss when watching tv and only real grumble is nothing at all to do with the lodge but the parkdean staff. As we didnât book directly through them they didnât seem to want to help which as the owners presumably pay them a lot for the fees and maintenance is a shame. Other than that a lovely stay and I would recommend.

We payed £1200 for 4 nights, whilst paying less than half that for the same exact week last year in a lodge the same size on the other side of the site. We thought with this being privately owned it would be well looked after but that was not the case. It was very tired, in need of some repairs, furnishings were broken, chipped, rails in the wardrobe not fixed in etc and there was bits of rubbish under the beds like it hasnât been cleaned properly. Would not stay here again, was not good value for money at all, was disappointed.

The Lodge and the hotel tub were great. Family of 4 with two young kids and we squeezed in when we were there. Able to cook and have family meals as well as play board games. Lucky with the weather so could use the outside facilities which were great. The shared pool isn't brilliant for young kids, but it is a good resource otherwise. Short trips in the car kept us busy with loads to do and then home to relax in the lodge, nice time of year for it as the surroundings were nice and quiet.
