Bowness-on-Windermere is a lovely town nestled on the banks of Windermere that attracts tourists with its gorgeous natural surroundings and abundance of attractions. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is a renowned family destination, while National Trust - Wray Castle is a stunning mediaeval fortification that attracts history aficionados from all over the world. Visitors may unwind in the quaint bars and restaurants that adorn the main street in the evenings, including the popular pub of The Ship Inn.
