This fabulous property with stunning lake views is in a great location, close to Ferry Nab, Storrs, Lake Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere. Nestled on the eastern shores of Windermere, you are in an excellent location for exploring The South Lakes. Fully renovated and new to the market for 2022, this luxury property offers the perfect holiday home to relax, spend time with loved ones and make amazing memories together. The ground floor is all open plan and offers a spacious area with plenty of easy seating to relax after a day on the fells. There is a wood burner, a well- equipped kitchen which is an ideal place to prepare a hearty breakfast before a day of adventure. The dining table is perfect for a family games night with a few glasses of wine. On the first floor you will find two double bedrooms and third bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom features a good-sized bath with a shower over a toilet and a heated towel rail. There is also a separate toilet and wash basin.

To the rear of the property there is a lawned area with stunning lake views, to the side a doorway to a beautiful outdoor dining area with terrace, contemporary lighting and garden furniture which attracts the sun all day and is perfect for that morning coffee and a bit of fresh Cumbrian air. The property is in the exclusive and popular Storrs Park area. Just outside the hustle and bustle of Bowness-On-Windermere. You are ideally situated – close enough to easily access the popular tourist village with its array of facilities, attractions, bars and restaurants, but with the benefit of accommodation far enough away that when it’s time to relax, you can unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. Lake Windermere and the Steamers are a short drive or walk away, and you can easily access the main routes to explore further afield. To the north, you will reach Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere. To the south Newby Bridge, The Aquarium of the lakes and The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway or you can take the car ferry over to Hawkshead and Coniston.     I have stated at this property before, 2 years prior. I would suggest adding 2 more blinds to the property for security/privacy, one to the door leading out to the side terrace/front of property as it looks into the main living area & also one in the porch to the side window which is not obscure glass like the front door as it looks into the kitchen area. Though the mattress to the one double bedroom was very comfortable it is very badly stained & either needs professionally cleaning or replacing, though it did have a mattress protector on. Also the duvet was stained & needs washing or replacing. The one settee in the lounge is well worn & not very comfortable the matching settee on the far side against party wall to stairwell was less worn & more comfortable. No changes since my previous stay 2 years prior & therefore some changes/updates maybe something to consider.

    Hazelrigg is lovely! A wee walk up hill but the views from the house and garden are stunning. Very relaxing place to stay in. We have been twice here and booked again for the end of the year so I think that says it all!
