Situated at Quarry Rigg, High Brow offers spacious and thoughtfully laid out accommodation. This cosy apartment has all the creature comforts one needs for their self-catering holiday and it makes the ideal base from which to explore the central and southern lakes. The bright, open plan living/dining space incorporates a contemporary fitted kitchen and has views of Lake Windermere, which is just a 10-minute walk from the apartment. There are two comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom which completes the accommodation.
Being so central means that you can enjoy all of the town’s shops, bars, cafés and restaurants without having to negotiate town centre traffic and parking charges. Whilst the apartment is well equipped for self-catering, it is hard not to be tempted by all the nice cafés and restaurants which are all within a few minutes’ walk, and offer many different cuisines including Thai, Indian and Chinese. In addition to the wide variety of eateries, there is a traditional cinema and Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to the World of Beatrix Potter attraction which families with young children will adore. Other family friendly places to visit include the South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lakes Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway. Grizedale Forest also makes for a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking, Segways and the Go Ape treetop adventure. Whilst there is plenty in Bowness-on-Windermere to keep everyone happy, there are so many other interesting places within easy reach including Ambleside, Kendal, Hawkshead, Cartmel and Ulverston.

It was in a beautifully thought out area and convenient to go to the lake and shops. It was only two minutes walk to the World of Peter Rabbit, which my son loved. The flat was tastefully decorated and perfect for us.

Flat Is Very Nice Location But Fund The Flat Is Very Big Task Not For Me We See 4 Days 10-15 People Who They Came To Other Flat Very Confusing For Other Also, Flat Is Good Fir 4 People So Overall Is Fine Not Great Some Point Also They Need To improve In The Property 1) No Sugar 2) No Salt 3) No Kitchen Towels 4) No Extra BIN Bag Only 1 Bag Is There So Is Not Enough For 4-5 Days So We Bing Bin Bag For Us . 5) Not Enough Kitchen Vesels For Cooking 6) Down The Sofa Is Very Dirty Not Clean 7) No Milk Only Coffee And Tea Bags Is There We Paid 540£ Fir 4 Nights But Is Not Worth It. Flat Management Or Owner Need Take Some Responsibility Fir This Things After 5Pm Very Difficult To Contact Them Even Emergency Contact Number Is Not Working So With Baby Very Hard. Even I Saw Some Same Reviews 1 Month Before But Same To Same Problem . So Is Fine But Not Good
