As the name suggests, this modern apartment enjoys a wonderful view over Bowness to Lake Windermere and is in an ideal location for holidaymakers to sample all the delights that this popular tourist destination has to offer. A wealth of local attractions can be enjoyed on foot for all ages and, as the apartment has that all important private parking spot, there is little need to use the car. Set out on two floors, the accommodation is very light and airy and presented in a contemporary style with subtle colours and quality fittings. The Lake can be easily seen from all rooms to the front of the property, the lounge room having a most mesmerising view.

Provided WiFi which was great. Location great, 5 min walk into Bowness on Windermere. No welcome pack. Only provided half a bottle of washing up liquid. 2 x tea towels.In bathroom and seperate toilet hand soap bottles small amount left in each one. Kitchen lacked a jug, fish slice, no baking tray. Only had roasting tin and grill tray. no extra bin bags no cleaning products for cleaning the kitchen work top. No correct instructions how to use the oven or grill.Single bedroom ceiling above wardrobe looked like it had water damage from bathroom above. Found socks under the bed clearly the cleaners didnt see that. And large zip bag with next lot of bedding and towels stored under the bed. So not entirely fresh for next guests going in. Twin room, lamp shade broken off and placed on top of the wardrobe.Towel rail in kitchen had fallen off and put on top of cupboard.No spare hand Ttowel in toilet.Only one toilet roll provided.Double bed mattress comfy for few days. Might need replacing. Bathroom could do with some tlc. Ceiling paint work cracking.Tv remote battery's need replacing, back of remote battery cover missing.Throw on back of sofa staines on it., clearly not washed.On sperate toilet wall lots of marks where holes had been patched up and painted over. Not done professionally and in the bathroom same thing.All in all wouldn't stay there unless they sorted things out and didnt leave next guests bedding and towels under the bed in a bag.Makes me wonder if the cleaners actually mop the floors and hoover or clean the whole place properley. Hate to see the state of the mattresses in all rooms.Not worth the money I paid for the week would have rather spent it on a bed and breakfast.

2nd visit and no problems with the apartment, everything you need for a short stay is on hand. Location is perfect and a parking space is a premium. I would have no hesitation in staying again.

We had a lovely week staying in Lake View, the location is ideal for exploring Bowness-on-Windermere with shops, restaurants & lakeside attractions within walking distance. The parking space is a bonus as on street parking is in short supply in the Lakes although is tight for larger vehicles to get in and out of. The apartment was clean and my family found the beds comfortable although the mattresses are on the firmer side. There are some parts that could do with fixing/tidying up for example the kitchen window, fan in bathroom and paintwork in places. We’d have appreciated some instructions for the oven (the only instructions we found were for a previous oven) and the heating although we did work out both in the end. Information about managing rubbish would also be appreciated as we ended up just putting recyclables in the general waste as we couldn’t see any evidence of recycling bins/bags for the property. Finally as a family with a young child we would have found a highchair useful but appreciate one isn’t listed in the information and it was our fault for not realising.
