As the name suggests, this modern apartment enjoys a wonderful view over Bowness to Lake Windermere and is in an ideal location for holidaymakers to sample all the delights that this popular tourist destination has to offer. A wealth of local attractions can be enjoyed on foot for all ages and, as the apartment has that all important private parking spot, there is little need to use the car. Set out on two floors, the accommodation is very light and airy and presented in a contemporary style with subtle colours and quality fittings. The Lake can be easily seen from all rooms to the front of the property, the lounge room having a most mesmerising view.

We had a lovely week staying in Lake View, the location is ideal for exploring Bowness-on-Windermere with shops, restaurants & lakeside attractions within walking distance. The parking space is a bonus as on street parking is in short supply in the Lakes although is tight for larger vehicles to get in and out of. The apartment was clean and my family found the beds comfortable although the mattresses are on the firmer side. There are some parts that could do with fixing/tidying up for example the kitchen window, fan in bathroom and paintwork in places. We’d have appreciated some instructions for the oven (the only instructions we found were for a previous oven) and the heating although we did work out both in the end. Information about managing rubbish would also be appreciated as we ended up just putting recyclables in the general waste as we couldn’t see any evidence of recycling bins/bags for the property. Finally as a family with a young child we would have found a highchair useful but appreciate one isn’t listed in the information and it was our fault for not realising.

As always, we love this apartment been about twenty times, a great view of the lake, 5 minutes walk to the pier, restaurants, pubs, brilliant, we'll be booking again 👏👏👏👏

We Stay here 2 to 3 times a year, we love it, quiet, a great view, and just a 5 minute walk down the hill to pubs, loads of places to eat, I'll be booking again
