The Stable View is located in the heart of the beautiful Bowness on Windermere which has a superb selection of shops, restaurants and bars. This ground floor apartment is within a stone built house and offers guests a great level of comfort throughout. There is a living area with patio doors that lead to a private balcony which offers superb views, the kitchen is well-equipped and is open plan with a dining area, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. This is a perfect location to explore this stunning location within the heart of the Lake District, and the Beatrix Potter Museum is just a short stroll away, or why not jump on a Windermere steamer boat a have a tour of the lake, then a wander through the streets of the beautiful town of Windermere. Shops 1 mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Low quality budget budget Accommodation but charged at a premium rate. Location Unable to get into the property before 5 pm. Had to leave the property by 9 am. Not ideal for a nice bank holiday weekend. No parking whatsoever. The property is finished to a budget standard. No communication with the owner other than the key code. Having stayed in the left district dozens of times over the last 30 years I can honestly say this was the most disappointing accommodation that Ive ever stayed in.

This is a lovely place. We had the issue that it hadn't been serviced from the previous people staying there. However, when I rang Cottages.com they got it sorted within the hour and it was cleaned excellently. The only real issue was the mattress was very soft and every time I moved it meant my husband moved as well, and vice versa. However, that was the only issue. It's in a great location and although it has no parking we got a free parking directly over the road in a side street with no problem at all.

Great location to see what Windermere has to offer. Clean and well maintained apartment. Parking bit of an isue. All other residents at the cottages have a private parking space but for some reason this one didnt. Big shout out to the staff at Jawsons. They allowed us to park the car outside the shop for the 2 days we visited. Knowledge of what amenities the cottage had to offer from the company wasnt great either. Questioned about an iron before we arrived and told no iron. But we found one when we arrived. Told to leave bedding and towels in black bags provided, but no black bags in the premesis. Just small things but these things could make visitors stay more easier. Really friendly people around Windermere considering they have a lot of tourists. Nice bars a restaurants. Good food offers if your happy to eat before 6pm.
