The Stable View is located in the heart of the beautiful Bowness on Windermere which has a superb selection of shops, restaurants and bars. This ground floor apartment is within a stone built house and offers guests a great level of comfort throughout. There is a living area with patio doors that lead to a private balcony which offers superb views, the kitchen is well-equipped and is open plan with a dining area, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. This is a perfect location to explore this stunning location within the heart of the Lake District, and the Beatrix Potter Museum is just a short stroll away, or why not jump on a Windermere steamer boat a have a tour of the lake, then a wander through the streets of the beautiful town of Windermere. Shops 1 mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We loved it here as it was very central & close to all amenities. Very cosy, quirky place. A few bits & bobs needed fixing but nothing major. It was dark when we arrived & we struggled to find the key safe altho it is exactly where they said it was!! The instructions said it is the bottom safe with a number 3 on, but there is only 1 safe on its own & the number 3 is inside the box after its opened. As we couldnt open it at first, we had to ring for instructions but the problem was soon solved. We would definitely stay again
