The popular Brockhole on Windermere is just a 10 minute walk, offering beautiful gardens, a children's adventure playground, archery and boat hire. Whilst Bowness-On-Windermere boasts The World of Beatrix Potter, which is perfect for the youngsters. The eastern shore of Windermere boasts a range of historic landmarks and fantastic attractions, including Stagshaw Gardens, Townend, and Holehird Gardens, all within 2.5 miles. From the Windermere Jetty Museum (2 miles), you can take a boat trip out across Windermere itself.
