Known for its charming heritage and thriving local market, pick up some of this area’s best local produce from the historic market town of Diss, 8 miles away. Keen outdoor adventurers can enjoy a blood-pumping day at Thetford Forest (16 miles), with mountain bike trails and canopy-top obstacle courses to conquer, plus some beautiful picnic spots.

Wash off a day on the local trails in the sleek, contemporary wet room before retiring to the peaceful king-size bed, which is tucked away in a quiet spot to one side of the shepherd’s cabin. Two single beds above the king-size bed provide space for the whole family.
