Guests can enjoy a swim in the indoor heated swimming pool (by arrangement), table tennis and snooker room. Within easy reach of the magnificent North Norfolk coastline for wealth of sandy beaches, nature and rspb reserves. The famous Norfolk Broads are within 40 minutes drive, with riverside restaurants, cafes, shops, daily boat hire and river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways abundant with bird and wildlife, with many picnic opportunities along waterside. Market town of East Dereham, 2½ miles, has weekly street market, shops, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool and golf course. Gressenhall Rural Life Museum and Union Farm, 3 miles, offers an interesting day out. Thetford Forrest Park with miles of walking and cycle trails to explore and ’Go-Ape’ adventure playground and assault course, 20 miles. Scarning Dale Cottages - The swimming pool is available all day but is only free for 1 hour to guests at the property. Swimming hats must be worn in the pool. Dogs only, must be kept on a lead outside the cottage gardens. There is a pond in the grounds/garden.
Towels are available to hire for overseas visitors at £4 per person per week. There is a £50 security deposit payable on arrival and refunded within 2 weeks of your departure. Nearest tennis court is 0.25 miles away. Fireworks are NOT allowed at anytime including New Year.

Very friendly owner easy cooker to use comfortable bed. Small cottage but plenty of room for large dog. Lovely and warm.. outside walls need painting and a better gate as a dog could open it. And possibly a storage box outside to put muddy wellingtons. Would return

We really love the cottage, it was small but fine for the 3 nights we had there. The location was fantastic and the walks around the estate were gorgeous. The owner was absolutely great, she left us tea things and a home made cake out on our arrival and was really helpful.
