Guests say

The Coach House in Thetford offers a tranquil retreat with its tasteful furnishings, original features, and a hot tub for relaxation. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage, as well as the generous welcome pack. The local pub adds to the charm of the quiet village location. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly recommended for exploring Norfolk.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean, with one specifically noting it was 'sparking clean'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The property is situated in a quiet village with a friendly local pub and is close to a town with amenities. The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to Norfolk's attractions.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, with comfortable furnishings and a hot tub mentioned as highlights. However, one review mentioned a heavy kettle and a problematic handrail, slightly reducing the score.

The property is well-equipped, with a special mention of the kitchen and garden. However, some reviews point out issues with Wi-Fi connectivity, a trip hazard, and other minor maintenance concerns.

While guests mention a generous welcome pack and a bottle on arrival, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. As such, while these touches are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every guest.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House. It was a few days retreat to just switch off and relax, and this property allowed exactly that. Beautifully and tastefully furnished, but also comfortable, it has everything you need.We loved the original features, brick and wood. Also loved the hot tub, right outside the door. Highly recommended. Had a nice meal at the local pub (5-10 mins walk) and a wonderful meal at The Raj Indian restaurant in nearby Watton.

This place was largely Style over Substance.A wine cooler for a dozen bottles for just two people! What's wrong with the fridge? A fancy kettle that 'weighed a ton'! 'Designer' wash hand basin, not fit for purpose. Hot Tub, just for our use, in a communal garden!Handrail to upstairs which is half buried in the wall, no use for holding onto when carrying a case up or down. Wifi that worked some of the time. A £5 latch would sort the access gate. Paved patio which is a definite trip hazard!Nice quiet village, friendly pub just down the road, only a mile to a decent town with a supermarket.Host sounded nice enough on the phone, didn't get to meet them.
