Initially all looked to be ok with the cottage but on closer inspection the cottage could do with some added touches and tidying up in the garden. The microwave was rusty inside, we contacted the owner who had it replaed the next day. The Welcome Pack consisted of teabags and coffee sachets and a pint of milk that was out of the date the following day, again the owner had fresh milk brought round, the rug looked as though it hadn't been hoovered, again the cleaner came round and did this. A few other things - none of the cutlery matches, there were only 2 mugs, I'm fussy and like a clean cup each time so had to wash the mugs each time. Only one toilet roll, luckily we were out all day every day so didn't use all of it. The garden could do with a good tidy up, some paving slabs are lifting. The bathroom sink looks great but not very practical, several times we turned the tap on too much and got sprayed with water. The bed was comfortable, shower nice and big and enough dishwasher tablets for a whole week, oven was clean, baking trays and saucepans were all good. The wine cooler was good for keeping bottled water cold.

The place inside nice but very very sticky in the bedroom due to in the loft space and weather very hot , the garden was overgrown could do with a good cut back , due to tree bits constantly falling in the hot tub, we also got a two night visit of flying ants wanting to swim in the hot tub, I am not a fan of insects was not at ease in the hot tub and inside for the amount of daddy long legs, and dragonflies, the property could do with a few extras like a small air conditioning unit and microwave pans bowls etc , from the outside they is a huge crack coming down the building which does not look good for the future, the village is very friendly pub at the road and neighbors very helpful, advising places to visit
