We had a great time & the dogs really enjoyed it too they were exhausted from excitement & their first seaside holiday. Lilypots was such a lovely place we felt so comfortable & relaxed just like being at home. Everything we needed & more. It was so clean & the bed was so comfy & warm, the garden was spacious enough for the dogs & having the beach so close to give them a good run was a huge bonus. The bakery is almost next door which was very tempting each time we passed we had to grab something & shops close enough for any extras we needed. We even had a cake left for us on arrival which was a nice touch & the dogs had treats. Would definitely go back this was a beautiful place & everything was thought of by the owners.

A last minute booking, Lilypots offered everything we needed for a bit of respite from a stressful year. The bungalow is warm, comfortable and well equipped. We found the beds very firm, but that's individual preference. The kitchen area is very well set up and included an air fryer and slow cooker as well as the standard electric cooker and microwave. The low access shower was pretty powerful, and with ramped access to the front door, the bungalow is more accessible than most.We really appreciated the fact that both front and back garden areas were TOTALLY secure for our dog. With indoor and outdoor bowls and an outdoor doggy shower provided - you can tell the owners understand dogs and their humans. They also provided covers for the leather three piece suite. Really good beach walking with only approx 400 yards walk to the beach access slope (poo bin on the way). 3 miles to Winterton, it's Dunes and Seal colony...please keep dogs on a lead and respect the seals' space. You can also walk south to Caister and on to Yarmouth if feeling more energetic. Watch the tide times - we printed them off for the week before we went!Scratby is a seasonal seaside village with many of the local facilities closing or operating on very reduced hours out of season (including the public toilets). However, the Scatby bakery, just three doors away, and the village shop were both open with very good options and friendly staff. Caister on Sea offers everything else you might need.
