Amenities on site include 18-hole golf course, golf shop, golf PGA pro and disc golf. Golf to be paid for and booked in Pro Shop and cost varies. There are three fishing ponds, stocked with carp. Bars and food are available in the clubhouse and retreat, with a Sunday roast a must-have (opening times vary). Redwings Horse Sanctuary has its own café/shop, including toys, souvenirs and more (well worth a look), opening times vary. All are within walking distance and part of Caldecott Country Park.

Nearby, the Norfolk Broads beckon with their intricate waterways and diverse wildlife. Rent a boat or take a guided tour to navigate these enchanting channels, which are home to an array of bird species, including kingfishers and swans. Photographers, birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts will find endless inspiration in this unique wetland landscape.

For a day at the nearest beach, Gorleston is less than 15 minutes by car, plenty of parking and has a golden, sandy beach, yacht pond, arcade; get the small adults an ice-cream or yourselves a coffee or fish and chips at various points along the promenade. Alternatively, visit Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile and enjoy a thrilling ride at the Pleasure Beach Amusement Park. Further along the coast, you have seaside magic of Sheringham and Cromer and savour fresh seafood, such as the traditional Cromer crab.
